This recipe for Green Apple Martinis is for Lisa (and anyone else who wants it). I find it amusing that these are so popular, now. I used to drink these over a year ago and only occasionally imbibe, now (they get me in trouble).
Anyway… this is a combination of my old recipe with a trick I stole from a bartender at Halo.
2 ounces Sour Apple Schnapps
1 ounce Vodka
1 ounce vanilla-flavored Vodka
1 dash Cointreau
garnish with slice of green apple (marinate in chilled vodka for extra punch)
Helpful hints:

i’ve been hearing about them for the longest time, but everywhere i went and asked for one, the place didn’t make ‘em (the bastids!). finally, my sweetheart mixed some up last weekend, probably so i’d quit whining about it. *grin* i’d actually thought about using part vanilla vodka, but the cointreau is a surprise. i will try this…thanks. :)
*sip!* Ahhhh! A delicious drink made by a delicious man! Truly one of the many highlights of the evening …
I’ll be trying this recipe ASAP!
Yes, I definitely need some good vodka after realizing the guy to the right has bigger breasts than I.
I made this martini last night for my friends and it was a HUGE hit. The apple garnish itself is the best part when all is said and done. Mmmmmm…. One of my friends even got me a silver martini shaker for the occassion. Gotta love it baby.
When I in Naples Florida and Key West Last fall my Girl was turned on to these addictive but great drinks. In one bar in Naples they had a special on Caramel Green Apple Martini’s .Wow instant success.(Drank 3)They smeared liquid caramel inside the glass and falowed the regular recipe.
Love Green Apple Martini’s, but my ability to control myself goes out the door everytime I make then.
I may have to get rid of the kids this weekend…
